Known as Ashwakura in Sanskrit as the shape of the flower is similar to the hoofs of a horse this medicinal plant carries immense benefits and it also produces an intense blue hue that is widely being used in food and drink recipes.


Aparajita is rich in anthocyanins, which is an antioxidant compound responsible for giving the tea it's distinct blue color. (1)
